MY STORY
Hi, I’m Philip, Phil for short, Felipe en español.
(my last name is Polish and pronounced Jan - Caw - Ski)
We’re all in this together is a mantra I often use — one of many. This mantra represents a value and core life philosophy of seeing work and life without boundaries. By making authentic connections with others we can find common ground. By finding common ground, we can come to rely on one another to create shared wealth and value.
Through Chaparral Studio, I help brands and organizations move visions forward. I design brand strategies and campaigns, shape memorable experiences and events, create unique touch points and offerings, and form valuable partnerships. In a world of noise, I love to find clarity in stories and narratives that forge an emotional connections.
My definition of success is the deep and trusting relationships I’ve forged with people, all kinds of people, spanning industries and backgrounds. I strive to always do what I say I will do, think expansively and ask many questions, obsess on quality, and lead with kindness and humor.
I enjoy time outside — in the water and on the trails — as well as exploring meditation, yoga, photography, cooking open fire meals, trail running, reading, biking, writing, playing music and spending time with my partner, family, and our canine bodhisattva, Lou.
Read about my work experience, learn how I see the world, and reach out to start a conversation about your biggest hopes and dreams.
